No Logo - WireMan SLM021
Our first release of 2017 comes from No Logo namely the production partnership of Secret Life’s Pete Gooding and respected chill out producer Afterlife.
This package follows the 2016 release of ‘Tangerine Scream’ which came will a great remix from legendary Balearic DJ Leo Mas working with studio partner Fabrice.
Wireman is a slower, deeper and darker affair that chugs along intensely. The track was inspired by Pete’s last trip to Antigua, where he does an annual party at the incredible Sheer Rocks venue.
Remixes come in the form of Norway’s finest, Rune Lindbaek who played for us last summer in Ibiza at Hostal La Torre and Pikes Hotel and he has turned in a slow, dubbed out mix and in strong contrast to that is Field Theory’s mix that takes a different route focusing instead on layered synths and percussion that combine for maximum dreamy blissed out vibes. The package is completed by Secret Life favourite Robot 84, who delivers a solid slice of balearic disco.
